Golfers will tee off against child abuse and neglect at the 8th Annual Child Abuse Prevention Services (CAPS) Golf Outing at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, August 7 at the Tam O'Shanter Club in Brookville.
The event also will feature the inaugural presentation of the John Davis Memorial Award to Dom Camera, managing general partner of Dom Camera & Co., LLC. Camera is receiving the honor in recognition of his commitment to helping CAPS prevent child abuse and neglect in all of its forms.
The 8th Annual CAPS Golf Outing starts with registration and brunch at 10:30 a.m.; a shotgun start is scheduled for noon with cocktails and a buffet dinner scheduled to start at 5:00 p.m.
The cost is $400 per golfer; those seeking to attend only the cocktail party and dinner can do so for $100 per person.
All proceeds benefit CAPS, one of Long Island's leading organization dedicated to preventing child abuse and neglect. To register or for more information, call the Roslyn-based CAPS at 621-0552.
