Roslyn residents have finally caught a break. There are three openings on the school board, and three outstanding people willing to fill those openings.

Thankfully, incumbent Dani Kline has agreed to serve us for another term. She has proven herself to be devoted to education, independent and thoughtful while maintaining her integrity and dignity through rough times. Mrs. Kline's experience and knowledge will help lead the district in the right direction.

Dave Seinfeld and Ron Smith are educators who want the business of the Roslyn School District to be education. They know the ins and outs of curriculum and budgets, and are mindful of the need to keep costs down while providing an excellent education for our students. They are far too knowledgeable to be 'yes' men and will provide much needed insight.

Years ago, in my role as PTA and CCPA president I used to attend board meetings and was very grateful that we had such stellar people serving our district. If we elect Kline, Seinfeld and Smith we will return to those high standards. How lucky for us.
