Area seniors and their family members will have an opportunity to preview the Sterling Glen of Roslyn senior housing development at an open house, set for Saturday, Feb. 25, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Most of the restoration projects in Roslyn have to do with such recognizable buildings as the Clock Tower and the Robeson-Williams Grist Mill, plus the numerous older homes in the area.
Heimler to Skate in Switzerland
For the third consecutive year, Allison Heimler of East Hills has been selected by the United States Figure Skating Association (USFSA) to represent the United States as a member of Team USA in an international figure skating competition. Allison will compete at the Junior Ladies level in the Gletscher Cup 2005 figure skating competition to be held March 18 and 19 in Grindelwald, Switzerland. Team USA will be competing against skaters from Belgium, The Netherlands, Switzerland, Denmark, Sweden, Germany, Finland, Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Croatia, France, Germany, UK, Hungary, Italy, Luxembourg, Norway, Russia, Slovenia, Spain and the Ukraine.
Jayhawks On A Winning Streak
The Jayhawks, a Roslyn fourth grade travel basketball team playing in the SuperLeague at Island Garden, have now won seven of their last eight games. This puts their 8-3 record among the very top of the elite 23-team division.
