Roslyn High School seniors - Alexander Babazadeh, Andrew Forrest, Michael Hofer and Paulene Meyers - were named semifinalists in the 65th Intel Science Talent Search. Three hundred semifinalists were selected from over 1,500 entrants nationwide in this prestigious competition. The New York State Department of Health has confirmed the first three cases of rabies found in raccoons this year in Nassau County. The animals were collected on January 1 in Port Washington, January 8 in Manhasset and January 9 in Plandome Manor. FULL STORY

The Roslyn High School girls' and boys' varsity basketball teams will play back-to-back home games in a special double-header on Friday, Jan. 27.
