It was with a great deal of sadness that I read that Stanley Wierzbicki had died. He was one of my students when I taught in the Roslyn Public Schools. After graduation, he became a custodian in the senior high school.
As a student he was a pleasure to teach. As a custodian, he was a sensitive and thoughtful young man who not only did a fine job but was also deeply concerned with the students. Stanley was of great help to me and I will always treasure his memory.
My deepest condolences go out to his family for he made a difference to everyone who knew him.
