I am writing as a resident of the Roslyn School District.

I want to take this opportunity to list some items of concern regarding the entire mess.

* How can we trust Mr. Anthony Annuziato, the new assistant superintendent of business, to be objective and honest when the current board members who approved him to be hired are currently under investigation for alleged fraud, using public funds for personal use? His current salary is $160,000, plus benefits. Do you think that he can be impartial?

* We have not heard any comment that the school board is suing our previous accountants, Miller, Lilly & Pearce for malpractice.

* We have not heard that the school board is suing the attorney who advised the board not to report the crime two years ago, for malpractice.

I cannot believe that the attorney was complicit in aiding and abetting a felony by recommending to the board not to report it.

Why isn't the commissioner removing the board and holding an immediate election, since some of the board members are accused of using public funds for personal use, including credit cards, computers and who knows what else?
