I am appalled to think that in this day and age and in such an affluent community that the obvious ineptitude of all elected board members proves that there is plenty of "extra" cash just waiting to be taken from the trough.

After being a resident of Roslyn Heights for 55 years and moving away eight years ago I would like to request restitution for my Internet expenses, phone and cell bills, dry cleaning and mostly my school taxes which seem now to have been unnecessary in light of the unfolding events. All resident taxpayers received their tax bills and were also "entitled" to the above mentioned services as were certain board members so what is "good for the goose is likewise good for the gander."

Imagine returning our tax money to the taxpayers of the district! Unthinkable! Better to let it be stolen by "profession thieves" in our employ and then pay them unconscionable exorbitant amounts to fleece the community and never even noticed by the overseers whose job it is to handle the reins of the district. Sounds like a good job to apply for and all residents should promptly submit their applications. I sure could use $7 million somehow.
