The Fifth Annual Kelly Amonte Girls' Lacrosse Day Camp at The Green Vale School, in Old Brookville, will be held the week of August 2-6. The camp runs daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is designed for all levels of players from beginner to advanced.
At the same time, the school will offer the Alexis Venechanos Goalie School. For the aspiring goalie of all levels, there will be an individualized training program run in conjunction with the player's camp, giving goalies opportunities to be integrated into team and game situations.
A new camp option this year will be an Elite Skills Session for girls who've completed in grades 9 through 12, and who plan to play lacrosse at the college level. This program will run from 1 to 3 p.m., from August 2 to 5, and is ideal for players who seek to master college-level stick work and shooting in high-pressure game situations. Kelly Amonte will direct this session.
