Florence R. Zatzkin, widow of Herbert R. Zatzkin, MD, died on Feb. 6, 2004 in Charleston, SC. Private services will be held at a later date. She was a resident of Charleston, formerly of Seabrook Island, SC.

Mrs. Zatzkin was born May 10, 1920 in Brooklyn, the daughter of Charles Kaplan and Minna Streich Kaplan. She is survived by Anne Striffler of Roslyn; two sons, Charles M. Zatzkin, DDS, of Greenwich, CT, and Jay B. Zatzkin, MD, of Gig Harbor, WA; and five grandchildren.
