On Sept. 8, F.A.S.T. (Foundation for the Advancement of Student Technology) held its third successful Golf and Tennis Classic at The Engineers Club in Roslyn Harbor.

Over 160 participants and volunteers enjoyed a day of golf, tennis, spectacular food and the camaraderie of their fellow Roslynites.

In attendance for the evening's events were School Superintendent Dr. Frank Tassone and various school administrators who continue to provide tremendous support to F.A.S.T.

Sponsored by Roslyn parents, F.A.S.T. raises monies to support the district-wide technology and the enhance the education of our children.

The event renamed last year in memory of Glenn Steinfast, a long-time member of F.A.S.T., has raised over $120,000 in the past three years.

The day's events included beautiful trophies for the winning teams, wonderful raffle prizes and a terrific silent auction. The efforts of the dedicated parents within our community made for a memorable day.
