The 10th annual Roslyn High School Homecoming celebration will take place on Saturday, Oct. 4. To stir school spirit, all students at Roslyn High School will be attending a Pep Rally on Friday, Oct. 3. The Roslyn Bulldog Boosters, a parent organization supporting Roslyn athletics, will sponsor a dinner for all of the high school's student-athletes Friday evening.
Parade participants are invited to start the morning with a pancake breakfast at Roslyn High School. The community is encouraged to enjoy the Homecoming Parade beginning at 12:45 p.m. Participants will begin lining up in front of Roslyn High School at 12:30 p.m. The parade will go through the Village of Roslyn and conclude at the high school. Leading the parade will be the award-winning Roslyn High School Marching Band.
Participating in the parade are the Roslyn fire departments, police department, local government officials, students, staff, parents, civic organizations, clubs and teams.
Homecoming 2003 is generously underwritten by the Roslyn Rotary Club.
Principal Dr. Jayson Stoller encourages the community to carry their enthusiasm and spirit from the parade into the football game scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. and cheer on the Roslyn Bulldogs against Glen Cove.
