Weather Complicates Roslyn Harbor Budget
The Village of Roslyn Harbor recently passed its own 2003-04 budget. The board of trustees approved total budget appropriations of $564,874. The budget, too, contained a slight tax increase. The new tax rate will be 5.38 percent of a property's assessed value, up from 4.94 percent for the 2002-03 budget.

Moving Up Programs A Success
The Roslyn Booster Basketball Board is very pleased to report that the 2002-2003 season ending "booster hoopster moving up" programs for the inaugural RBBC Boys and Girls second grade programs and for the second year RBBC Boys and Girls third grade programs held Sunday, March 23, were an "unqualified" success. Players and parents reconfirmed that the RBBC Board's mandate that "booster hoops" be made up of equal parts "fun and competition" is a winning recipe for the children of the Roslyn and East Williston School districts who participated in the RBBC program.
