Over the last four years I have followed the many accomplishments made by Mayor Susan Ben-Moshe and her progressive administration. Her record of fiscal responsibility, improvement of essential services, beautification of her community, and increase in government efficiency are goals I have personally subscribed to and objectives all local leaders should strive to achieve.
Specifically, I learned that Mayor Ben-Moshe turned a tennis facility from a costly, financial drain on her village into a profit making enterprise; I was informed that she beautified multiple areas of the community; and I read that she even initiated an aggressive road program.
All these demonstrable accomplishments were made without imposing adverse and severe taxes on her residents. I therefore personally commend the mayor and the members of her board, including incumbent Trustee Richard Levine. I personally support their record of accomplishment and wish the mayor, Trustee Levine and running mate Todd Street every success in the upcoming village election. The enviable record they established in Roslyn Estates has become known far and wide, and it will be only fitting if, once again, good government is justly recognized and rewarded on Election Day.
