    Unhappiness with a sewer tax imposed on numerous local homeowners has been mostly confined, so far, to residents of Roslyn Heights. Now, a civic association in the Village of East Hills is getting involved in the campaign to have the sewer tax repealed. FULL STORY

  • Sports: Robledo Wins Two State Swimming Titles

    Christian Robledo, a junior at The Wheatley School, has established himself as the finest swimmer to have ever represented Wheatley. Christian earned his third consecutive trip to the New York State Swimming Championship Meet with two first place finishes in the 100- and 200-yard freestyle events at the State Qualifying Meet. The Qualifying Meet was held at the Nassau County Aquatics Center on Feb. 24. In that meet, Christian established a Nassau County record in the 100 free with a time of 45.72 seconds and was victorious in the 200 yard freestyle event as well. FULL STORY
