The Roslyn Little League needs student umpires for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings and weekends. The season begins April 5 and lasts until mid-June. Prospective umpires must be at least 13 years old by July 31, 2003. Minimum pay is $25.00 per game.

All candidates, whether experienced or not, must register by Saturday, March 22. In addition, all candidates must attend the on-field training session conducted by the American Federation of Umpires at the East Hills School on March 22, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The application form will be available at both Roslyn Middle School and Roslyn High School. A parent or guardian must sign the form. Additional forms will be available at the training session. In case of inclement weather, the training session will move indoors to the East Hills cafeteria. For all questions, e-mail Eric Kobrick at eric.kobrick@aig.com.
