(The following is a letter first delivered to Flower Hill Mayor James Damascus.)

My family and I have been residents of Flower Hill only since July of 2002. We just wanted to let you know that you and your staff did an outstanding job of snow removal from the village roads over the past few days. As I traveled out of the village to adjoining neighborhoods I noticed a dramatic difference in the condition of the roads. I have worked in public service myself for many years (with the office of the Mayor of the City of New York) and I know it is very rare to get thanks and unfortunately common to hear complaints. Please inform all of those who took part in this work that they did an outstanding job. Keep up the good work!
