To make the event possible, Sportime donated nine courts. With the help of the club's League Director, Karen Palevsky, the women played a full morning of tennis. Lunch followed a busy morning, which was fully donated by Panera of Carle Place, which also supplied breakfast for the fundraiser. In charge of organizing the event for LRF were five Roslyn residents, Eileen Balbera, Meryl Ben-Levy, Amy Katz (event chair), Sue Rich and Paige Sirota.
The Lymphatic Research Foundation (LRF) is a Roslyn based not-for-profit organization founded by Wendy Chaite, Esq. LRF's mission is to increase research for the lymphatic system eventually leading to improved treatments and a cure for lymphedema and lymphatic disease.
