The Roslyn Pines Pool and Tennis Club has embarked on a major renovation of the adult pool, fresh on the heels of the fabulous kiddie pool debut this past summer. The renovation of the big pool by Aquacade Pool Building, Inc. is the final phase of an ambitious two-year program designed to keep the Roslyn Pines Pool and Tennis Club at the forefront of "family-friendly" places at which to spend a summer. A smashingly successful season of Women's Indoor Tennis welcomes 45 female local athletes to the ranks of Major League Champions at the Sportime at Roslyn tennis club. Fellow league players are encouraged to nominate one individual who epitomizes outstanding sportsmanship, court etiquette and honest, friendly competition. One woman in each of the 16 leagues is nominated by her own league members to receive the coveted Sports'mam'ship Award, a statue of honor and distinction. FULL STORY
