May I suggest that the United Nations impose the strictest and strongest regulations and requirements that the Iraqi government must comply with. Also, that the inspectors do not permit any deviation or the bypassing of any necessary inspection.

If the United States resorts to a war against Iraq, innocent Iraqi men, women and children will lose their lives as well as young military men from Iraq and from the United States. Furthermore, the hatred of the United States will multiply and many more acts of terrorism against the United States will take place, resulting in more deaths.

War is not the right answer or procedure at this stage of our civilization. Leaders of governments should not resort to wars to resolve their disputes or differences. If the Iraqi government abides fully by the UN requirements, government officials of the United States and of Iraq can meet, discuss their differences and problems, compromise and cooperate to attain diplomatic, friendly and trade relationships.

The money saved by not going to war can be used to help poor countries eradicate poverty, hunger and disease and improve their economy and trade. By such actions, the US will gain respect and appreciation and eliminate or reduce the reasons for hatred and violence against our country.
