Lawrence Carl Hammer was born in Mill Neck and was a former Roslyn resident. A Korean War veteran, he was a member of American Legion Post #336 in Glenwood Landing. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Janie. They owned and operated Jeanies Found Money Consignment Shop in Roslyn until retiring to Pennsylvania in 1997. He is also survived by two children, Lawrence Jr. (Benita) of Nesconset and Cindi Petrillo (Nick) of Pennsylvania; four grandchildren, James, Nanci, Nicholas and Adam. Mr. Hammer was buried at Holy Rood Cemetery on Aug. 31. Agostino M. (Nino) Razzano, 78, of Albertson, died on Sept. 5, 2002. Husband of Clarice. Father of Vincent Razzano and Anne Oswald. Brother of Jerry, Rosa and Rosalie. Grandfather of Phillip, Rachel, Jennifer, Gabriella and Victoria. The family was cared for by the Thomas F. Dalton Funeral Home, Williston Park. Funeral Mass celebrated at St. Aidan's RC Church.
