Ruth H. Bryant, 90, of Charlottesville, died Aug. 6, 2002, in a local hospital. Born in Bayside on Sept. 14, 1911, she was the daughter of the late Robert S. and Bertha Anna Arnold Haak. She was also preceded in death by her husband, George E. Bryant, and one brother, Robert A. Haak. Mrs. Bryant was a retired secretary and was a member of Meadows Presbyterian Church. She is survived by a son, Robert G. Bryant (Marcia) of Charlottesville; three grandchildren, Marc R. Bryant (Amy), Ellen B. Flynn (Kevin) and Scott Bryant (Lori); three great-grandchildren, Kyle, William and Kendall. Arrangements were made by the Teague Funeral Home. Funeral services private.
Henry (Hank) J. Willen, 79, formerly of Roslyn, died on Aug. 9, 2002. Born Jan. 31, 1932 in Brooklyn, he was the son of the late Michael and Frances (Maltz) Willen. He was a civil engineering major and received his bachelor's degree from the University of Pennsylvania and master's degree from Columbia University. He was a heavy construction project manager for many years in New York. Husband of Patricia. Father of Ellen Willen (fiance Robert Clark), William (Barbara) and Matthew (Cynthia). Grandfather of Michael, Daniel, Jackson and Ian. Arrangements were made by the Aurora-McCarthy Funeral Home, Colchester, CT. Interment Ponemah Cemetery, Westchester.
