"Ladies Day Tennis" in the Hamptons

On July 22, Sportime at Roslyn tennis club arranged a fun and sun-filled day trip to their sister Sportime Amagansett club for "Ladies Day Tennis in the Hamptons." A group of 26 tennis players and sport members joined hundreds of fellow World Team Tennis enthusiasts from several of the 12 Long Island Sportime club locations.

Stepping from the bus onto the courts, professional tennis clinics were immediately in session. Complimentary gifts, competitive prizes and outstanding World Team Tennis matches impressed the club members throughout the day. The most memorable moment was when World Team tennis star Patrick McEnroe played on-court mini-doubles matches with the ladies in waiting. All month long, from July 11 through July 27, Sportime Amagansett tennis club hosted the New York Hamptons World Team Tennis matches featuring Patrick and John McEnroe, Katerina Srebotnik and the Jensen brothers to name a few stars.
