Jack Kortvelesy, of Greenvale, died suddenly on May 18, 2002. He served in the Navy during WWII and the Korean War. He worked for IBM for 35 years. He was predeceased by his first wife Jeanne. He is survived by his wife Mary; brother and sister-in-law Robert and Brook Kortvelesy of Newark, DE; his children, Scott of Honolulu, HI, Nancy Hall of Commack, Jill Mennicken of Garden City, Peggy Kortvelesy of Huntington, Joanne Kortvelesy of Deer Park, Jeanne Regina of Leesburg, VA and Debra Ciccone of Huntington. Grandfather of 10. He is also survived by his wife's children, Rosemary McMahon, Amy McQuade and Jim McMahon. Arrangements were made by the Whitting Funeral Home, Glen Head.
