The 76ers won the Roslyn Boys Sixth-Grade Booster Basketball Championship recently, completing a very exciting season for all nine sixth-grade teams. The 76ers beat the regular season Champion Knicks by a score of 38-33. The 76ers were led by David Amateau's 20 points. Great rebounding by Matthew Murillo, Josh Nussbaum and Ben Anayati spurred the team to victory, as well as timely shooting for Seth Godnick. Terrific defense by Evan Maslin and Ben Wasserman also led to the victory. Leif Kantro had a broken hand, but cheered the team to victory.
