The Hot-Shots (12) - Hippy Hoopsters (6) - The Hotshots finished off their season against the Hippy Hoopsters on Saturday, hotter than ever. Guard Leigh Zagoory had an unbelievable down court pass to Taylor Horowitz, ensuring the inevitable victory after a brilliant performance by Alexis Schwartz, who had two baskets and an unbelievable defensive effort at center. This left Sophie Foster free to show her masterful ball-handling skills, which allowed her to make a steal, and fast-break down the court for a final easy lay-up right before the final buzzer. Rachael Spinner played critical defense, with Alexa Sapper and Allison Silberman applying tremendous pressure in the backcourt, making this 12-6 victory the most fun for the Hotshots.

The NBA (12) - All Stars (4) - The NBA (Nobody Beats Alana...) came out looking to run the opposition to distraction and to avenge their loss Week #8. They succeeded on both counts. NBA player Alana Karnovsky made the big offensive contribution today with five baskets while teammate Hillary Smith controlled the defensive paint by acting like a human eraser on the boards. The NBA's Nikki Karol contributed great floor play and just missed a basket, while teammates Nicole Katz and Nicole Kashine played tough defense shutting down the opposition's front court players. The NBA's Amanda Katlowitz was diving all out for loose balls and co-soccerette Bari Giller played some serious stingy defense by shutting down the All-Stars' top offensive threats.

Liberty (8) - Lady Storm (4) - Under a darkening sky, the six horsemen of freedom rode again! The Liberty express rolled into old north station on gossamer wings as the Liberty defeated a tenacious Lady Storm squad in a grueling battle to the finish 8-4. Led by the pick setting and scoring of the "tel aviv torpedo" a/k/a. Ronni Shalem, the monster pick setting by Katie Lombardo and the ball handling of Nicole Crystal and Leah Heisler, the Liberty was determined not to fall into the hands of the redcoats of the Lady Storm. Storm clouds abound and all-around could not deter these freedom fighters from keeping the score tied until the sixth segment. Then, under a moonlit sky, the lanterns of the old north church in old Boston gave the signal to begin the uprising. Amy Levine didn't shoot until she saw the whites of the net cord, and then it was lights out. Amanda Bader played with the reckless abandon that has caused other teams to surrender unconditionally to finally cement a hard fought four point victory, preserving life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

Dukettes (16) - Hurricanes (8) - The Dukettes and Hurricanes both went to their benches tied at half time to regroup after a well played and tough first half. The Dukettes opened the second half with renewed vigor, and pulled away quickly on the strength of some crafty rebounding by Ariel Arouty and Nicki Shenfeld, clutch scoring by Cody Rosen and Arielle Lubman, defensive gymnastics by Gena Olan and Ariella Kristal, and veteran ball control by team quarterback Lauren Grant.

Georgetown (24) - Patriots (18) - In this highly anticipated rematch both teams displayed great defense and had the crowd on its feet. Georgetown's entire team contributed to this well deserved victory with strong outside shooting by Elana Jaroff and strong inside play by Morgan Carella and Tori Neu. Georgetown displayed tough defense by Keely Lang, Erica Scalavino and Melisa Oken kept the Patriots off balance. Once again, Sasha Hiller anchored the bench with an outstanding performance.

Dunkaroos (22) - Turkeys (10)- The Dunkaroos had all six of their players score baskets, highlighted by Remi Kent's payback putback special. Dunkaroo players Alexis Shaw and Allison Frey patrolled the offensive glass, Rebecca Cooper and Julie Glantz took care of the dribbling chores, and Bari Pelton staked out her turf in the defensive paint and nabbed a bunch of bounds.

Superstars (24) - The Max (14) - The Superstars started runnning at the opening whistle and never looked back in a strategically well played game. The Superstars had balanced scoring led by Samantha Arnowitz's clutch heaves from the outside and Jenny Paulenoff finger rolls in the paint. Jessica Thaler played catch off the offensive glass to feed her teammates with crisp passes and teammate Amy Greenfield devoted her attention to the defensive glass coming away with many rebounds to ignite Superstar fast breaks.

Wizards (30) - Rockets (28) - The Wizards and Rockets played a make-up game to close out their regular season schedules and this game turned out to be a prime time spectacular with the outcome of this game not decided until the final 30 seconds. Both teams began the night with short benches because of player illness, but those girls who answered the bell put on one heck of a show for their fans. The Wizards were led on offense by Bari Resnick and Alex Lewisohn. The Wizards' offense flowed around the teeth rattling picks set by Nissa Ostroff-Moskowitz and the low post passing of Taylor Breen. As usual, the defensive wizardry was led by the textbook boxing out and defensive board work by Raquel Goldsmith and the glove-like defensive pressure applied on the ball by Alyssa Zauderer.
