Sometimes it takes a person awhile to come around to a good thing. For a while I thought the Going Places Café smack in the middle of the Village of Roslyn was a pizza place only. One day I stumbled onto the fact that it served full meals.

I have since become a regular patron. I have enjoyed breakfasts and lunches there and pizzas in the evening. The food is good, the atmosphere is pleasant, and there is a nice feeling about the people who cook and serve even though I don't know them beyond a cordial hello. I have always liked small, locally owned eateries over chains and franchises. I particularly like having such a local place in our town.
