As long-term (47 years) residents of the Village of East Hills, and equally long-term members and patrons of the Bryant Library, we would like to add our voices to support the proposed move of the library to a section of the new East Hills park.

The library, although well run, is physically in trouble. Its building is badly deteriorated, its service spaces are falling increasingly short of community needs, and inadequate parking is a long-standing problem which can only get worse. The new park is the only undeveloped property in Roslyn. Erecting a new library building there would not only let Bryant be maintained at the level the community deserves, but would also help reduce the new park's costs to village residents. Let's build it there!
