For the first time in five years, the Roslyn High School girls varsity team won an overtime game, defeating Clarke High School, 44-43. The win enabled the Lady Bulldogs to capture the Wheatley Holiday Basketball Tournament.

Roslyn defeated Wheatley, 45-41, to get into the finals. Tiara Augustine, the Lady Bulldogs outstanding freshman star, did not play in the finals due to an illness. However, another freshman, Erin Finestone, led all scorers with 12 points. In addition, Jamie Glick was voted the tournaments' outstanding player. Clarke was led by senior McKenna Smith, who scored 11 points.
