I am writing to express my thanks and appreciation to the Roslyn Fire Departments as well as the departments of the other municipalities who promptly responded to the recent fire at Tower Place in Roslyn. These men worked through the cold dark hours of early Monday morning to contain a blaze that eventually destroyed the historic building at the site. Through their quick response and decisive actions they were able to save the buildings surrounding the property. These men displayed bravery and unselfishness. I am proud to live in a community with people who are so willing to volunteer their time and effort to protect the property and lives of their fellow citizens. Once again, my sincere thanks.
