I would like to share with you my disappointment with the citizens and merchants of Roslyn.

Days after the horrendous disaster upon our country, I happened to be shopping in your lovely little shopping district. But something was not right! as I drove through the rows of houses past many shops, there were no American flags flying nor being displayed in windows.

I assumed that it was due to the shortage of flags and banners, as reported by the media. Having several spare flags with me, I entered a particular store, offering to gladly give them one. I was met with an embarrassing scorn. Their rolling eyes and silly comments made it clear: They were just too "posh" to consider hanging a flag.

With shock and disgust, I went into another shop to inquire just what was behind the lack of flags. I was informed that Roslyn citizens and merchants think they are above hanging any flags. I certainly hope the brave heroes and victims, as well as our military, never come through this town. Can it be that an intelligent, affluent community actually believes freedom comes by accident? I pray for these deluded people. So, displaying the flag is beneath you, eh? My prayer is that Roslyn residents and merchants would be delivered from their grandiose, elevated sense of self. You don't deserve this country.
