I am in total agreement with the point of view expressed in the letter to the editor by Elyse and Harold Hecht that appeared in the Aug. 27 issue.
I have lived in the Village of East Hills for almost fifty years and have been a continuous participant in the activities of the Bryant Library (a nine-year member of the board of trustees) during all that time.
I sincerely hope that the trustees of the Village of East Hills and the newly created East Hills Parks District give serious consideration to allotting space for the Bryant Library on the park property. I hope that both boards will show the leadership and vision to make a major contribution to the cultural and educational life of all of Roslyn.
I certainly would like to see my taxpayer money used for the constructive purpose.
