Erin Finestone of East Hills will travel to Philadelphia to compete in the 2001 Maccabi Games. She will participate in the games as a member of the Long Island JCC girls under 16-basketball team. The games will be held from Aug. 21 to 26.

Last year, Erin was a member of the girls' gold medal basketball team at the Maccabi Games held in Virginia. This fall, she will enter ninth grade at Roslyn High School. The Maccabi Games attracts athletes from Israel, Great Britain, and from all across the United States, plus from scores of other countries.
