Epstein Seeks Return to Roslyn
At the last board of trustees meeting, Village of Roslyn Mayor John Durkin made a surprise announcement, introducing Michael Epstein, the former Roslyn businessmen. Throughout the 1970s and much of the '80s, Mr. Epstein was in Roslyn, operating My Father's Place, which as Mayor Durkin acknowledged, was one of the premier clubs in all of Long Island, if not the entire United States.

At the last Village of Williston Park board meeting, residents of Pennsylvania Avenue packed the board room to express their growing concern and anger over the ongoing acts of graffiti in the community, which residents claim began in 1996.

Trick Shot Artist at Harbor Links
On Aug. 5 at noon, the Town of North Hempstead will present a free golf show featuring Dennis Walters. He beats his handicap every time he plays because Dennis Walters is the only person paralyzed below the waist who earns a living as a professional golfer.He performs his show in association with the Professional Golfers' Association of America the only golf performer to enjoy this distinction.
