It is both a pleasure and a privilege to write this letter in support of Ronna Niederman's re-election to the Roslyn School Board. During her tenure as school board trustee, Ronna has distinguished herself by the depth of her intelligence, her insightfulness, and her practical common sense. Ronna's experience as an incumbent, former PTA president, community leader, and parent of two teenaged children gives her a unique perspective. She has firsthand knowledge of many of the issues discussed as well as a historical overview, which allows her to truly understand both the short and long term implications of school board policies. She listens carefully, asks probing questions, and considers all sides of a question before making judgments. She has great integrity and is respected by parents, teachers, and administrators.

Ronna represents all constituencies, from the parents of young children to the seniors in our district. However, most importantly, Ronna is committed to excellence in education for all. It is this commitment to excellence that has characterized Ronna's first term as school board trustee. We urge you to join us in voting for Ronna, so that she may continue to pursue this goal, for it is this commitment to excellence in education that has distinguished the Roslyn school district.
