There, it struck a ramp, causing minor front-end damage. The subject continued traveling westbound on Hillside Avenue, striking the rear of a civilian vehicle with two occupants. According to detectives, the passenger of that vehicle was transported to Long Island Jewish Hospital, complaining of pain and having sustained several minor injuries. Meanwhile, the subject continued westbound on Hillside Avenue, where he was last observed by police.
An investigation is ongoing. Detectives describe the subject as "male, Indian," in his thirties, wearing a black jacket, black hat and glasses. Anyone with information pertaining to the incident is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
