Winter is just around the corner. When sufficient snow permits, Nassau County youngsters of all ages are invited to enjoy a fun-filled day of sledding at several Nassau County parks.

According to Nassau County Executive Thomas S. Gulotta, the following facilities are available for sledding or tobogganing: Cedar Creek Park, Seaford; Christopher Morley Park, Roslyn North Hills; Eisenhower Park (parking field #1), East Meadow; and Grant Park, Hewlett.

All parks, conditions permitting, will be open daily from 9 a.m. to dusk. For additional information, call 572-0200 weekdays during business hours.
