Karin Goolsby, age 57, formerly of Roslyn Heights, died on Aug. 14, 2000 after a long illness. She was the wife of James A. Goolsby; devoted mother of James A. III of Roslyn and Elizabeth K. Goolsby of Hicksville; and grandmother of Cameron James. Her mother, Betty Winkler of Buffalo, also survives her. Funeral services, under the direction of the Roslyn Heights Funeral Home, will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
