Karl Anton will be remembered as an icon in publishing, for the critical role he played in disseminating news throughout Long Island. It was through his creativity and innovation that village governments were able to communicate news, provide information, and inform their residents of developments. It is therefore sad to mourn his loss, but comforting to know that his achievements and accomplishments will survive for many generations to come.
