Housing Plan Not Ready for Review
Representatives with Phillips International, the development firm that wants to build residential housing in downtown Roslyn, recently met with Board of Trustee members last week to discuss their housing plans. Phillips still wants to present a proposal and make an application to the BOT as soon as possible, but no date for making such proposals has been set. However, Phillips officials made it clear they are set on proceeding with their plans.

Viaduct Restoration Discussions
The task force charged with overseeing the restoration of the Roslyn Viaduct bridge met recently to discuss, among other things, maintenance and other inspection projects, disaster prevention management and the idea of a ramp on West Shore Road to alleviate traffic going through the village while the restoration is taking place.
