The Beavers won their second game in a speedy contest that took one hour and five minutes to play. The Beavers' pitching was led by the strength of Michael McCann who struck out five of the nine batters he faced and assisted on two more putouts. Alex Litt closed out the games' last three innings by facing only 11 batters. Alex made two aggressive plays in the field including an un-assisted double play.

For the Lions, Michael Strachman struck out seven of the nine Beavers' batters he faced, and left the game after three innings allowing only a solo home run to Michael McCann.

Brian Giesecke took the mound in the fourth inning and pitched two innings for the Lions. Charles Ciccione opened the bottom of the fourth inning for the Beavers' with a single to right. Charles stole second and was advanced to third by Matt Lane. Charles stole home to put the Beavers' up 2-0.

In the bottom of the fifth Michael McCann continued his hot hitting by leading off with a double. He stole third and scored on an infield single by Jason Reis.

For the Lions, Zach Magid had a long double to center. He was left stranded at second. The game ended on outstanding defensive plays by Evan Waldman with a diving catch in center field and David Bayer on the final out of the game with a hard charging catch in left.
