    Subcontractors hired by Forest City Daly, the company that hopes to build 250 units of senior housing in Roslyn, have begun a voluntary cleanup of the site off Skillman Street. FULL STORY

  • NEWS: Stipulation Settles Chamber Lawsuit

    Representatives of the Roslyn Chamber of Commerce and the Village of Roslyn recently agreed on a settlement to an earlier Article 78 lawsuit filed by the chamber against the village that would allow the chamber to operate this spring's and all future street fairs in the village. The Roslyn Village Board of Trustees approved the stipulation at its April 18 public meeting. FULL STORY

  • SPORTS: Beavers Edge Lions, 3-0

    The Beavers won their second game in a speedy contest that took one hour and five minutes to play. The Beavers' pitching was led by the strength of Michael McCann who struck out five of the nine batters he faced and assisted on two more putouts. Alex Litt closed out the games' last three innings by facing only 11 batters. Alex made two aggressive plays in the field including an un-assisted double play. FULL STORY
