Andrew S. Sherwin, 86, of Tampa, FL, formerly of Roslyn, died on March 11, 2000. He was born in Union City, NJ, and grew up in Brooklyn. He graduated from NYU and went to medical school at the University of Michigan. He practiced at Garden City Obstetrics and Gynecology and was on the staff at Winthrop-University Hospital in Mineola and North Shore University Hospital at Manhasset. He was one of the founders of the Nassau Obstetrical and Gynecological Society. Husband of Bea. Father of Steven, Jonathan, Beth Zipin and Marylin Sherwin. Grandfather of seven.
