Building Plan Approved
The Roslyn Board of Education voted on February 3 to present the voters of the Roslyn School District with a $23.9 million bond proposition which will fund renovations and additions to the Roslyn Middle School, interior renovations at the Heights School as well as capital projects throughout the school district. The voting date has been set for April 6.
Rubin Nominated for East Hills Trustee
With the formation of the Roslyn Community Party, the Village of Roslyn will be having a competitive trustee race this year. So, too, will the Village of East Hills. Residents in that village have formed the Concerned Citizens Party and have nominated former Flower Hills mayor, Derrick Rubin to run for a trustee position.
Boat Smart Course at RHS
Eight-hour boating courses will be given by the Manhasset Bay Power Squadron in March and April at Roslyn High School.
