It was an exciting day at Charles Water's Hwang Karate Studio, located at 122 Hillside Avenue in Williston Park.
It was the third annual in-house Sparring Tournament. Sparring, (martial arts confrontation skills used for self-defense), is a great way for students to put into action their technical skills while exercising their discipline.
This competition provided students with the opportunity to demonstrate the proficiency that they have developed through their training, exhibiting both their physical and mental finesse. There were 100 competitors, children, teens and adults.
