  • NEWS: Conditions for Daly Project

    While receiving a recommendation from the Village of Roslyn Planning Board and approval from the Site Review Board for its senior housing development in downtown Roslyn, Forest City Daly, the Manhattan-based firm which hopes to build the housing, also obtained some important Special Permit and Development Incentive Bonuses from the village.   • NEWS: Bernstein Denied Trustee Renomination

    Last week, the Clock Tower Party, the major political organization in Roslyn, met to nominate two Board of Trustee candidates for next year's March 21 village elections. Two incumbents, Marshall Bernstein and Louise McCann, are up for re-election. While the Clock Tower Party renominated Ms. McCann, it failed to do the same for Mr. Bernstein. Instead, Wayne Marr was nominated by the party for the second trustee position. Mr. Marr is a member of the Village's Zoning Board of Appeals. FULL STORY
