As a retired former teacher at Roslyn High School, I have always retained some treasured friends in Roslyn and have followed its affairs with great interest.
One of the places I always recall with real affection is the Bryant Library. So I read with great interest Elizabeth Moger's recent letter, a most excellent one in all respects. I would associate myself totally with her beautifully expressed thoughts on the present situation.
I do hope the board will respect those sentiments, and the Staff Association's position.
If any parents and former students read this, I hope they will make their feelings known as well. If they would drop me a card or a note, I would love to hear from them.
I had a wonderful 19 years teaching at Roslyn. I am most indebted to all the taxpayers of Roslyn.
