For the second year Albert Zolezzi Auto Body organized a team of runners and walkers to represent The Willistons community in this years Susan G. Komen New York Race for the Cure. This annual 5K race is one of the most important events held each year in the New York Metropolitan area. With the generous support of our neighbors we were able to raise over $9,000.

On Sunday, Sept. 19, the following women raced for a cure for breast cancer and collected $100 or more in support of this important cause: Michele Aromaki, Kathleen King, Sue Clifford, Janet Boyle, Florence Redmond, Mary O'Keefe, Bernadette Harrison, Laura Cantwell, Maribeth Kraus, Ginny Geager, Marilyn Wotruba, Nancy Johnson, Mary Theodore, Barbara Sanneman, Kathleen Kelty, Katie Redmond, Eileen Devaney, Ann Cadigan, Liz Foehr, Carole McDonald, Deborah Carilli, Rebecca Boyle, Margaret Stark, Eileen Michelena, Marie Harrison, Marta Balducci, Nancy Zolezzi, Corinne Kalenka, Maureen O'Connell, Judy Cahill, Christy Lavelle, Mary Reardon, Peggy Foehr, Mary Martinucci, Elena Delucia.
