Julie Klein of Roslyn, a senior at Binghamton University, will lead that school's women's tennis team into the fall '99 season. Last year, Binghamton won the NECC title, with Ms. Klein playing a major role in the successful season.

This year, Ms. Klein remains the number one ranked player on the squad. Last year, her 14-win season earned her a 16th place ranking among all players in the East Region. Ms. Klein will be joined by freshman recruit Kari Gabrielson of Miami, FL, junior Heather Binen of Bayside, NY, and senior Allison Goldman of The Bronx. Last year, Ms. Klein and Ms. Binen teamed to capture the top doubles flight at the conference championships.
