The Long Island Bandits Girls Fastpitch 16 and under softball team just spent a two-day weekend in the Madison, CT Shoreline Sting Pony National Qualifier. Out of 16 teams, the Bandits clinched first place.

On Saturday, June 5, the Bandits played three back-to-back shutout games and Sunday, June 6, two games with the third being the championship. By the end of the weekend, the Bandits had given up 4 unearned runs and scored 53 runs in all six games. The Bandits are now qualified for the Pony Nationals in Sterling, VA. at the end of July.
