Junior Captain Julie Klein of Roslyn has been named this year's women's tennis team MVP for Binghamton University.

Klein led the women's tennis team from the number one singles position for the second straight year and is a repeat selection as MVP. She won 14 matches, and led Binghamton to a team title at the fall New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Championship, becoming the first BU team to win a Division II conference crown. Klein was NECC runner-up at first singles, and teamed with Heather Binen to capture the first doubles title. The pair was honored as the Most Outstanding Doubles team after their victory in the tournaments very last match gave BU the team championship.
